David Beall

Chief Executive Officer

Dave is a fourth-generation insurance leader and professional, with more than 25 years of executive experience in marketing, training and administration. He has long been a proponent of social marketing for financial services and works directly with carriers, sales organizations and producers to grow agent/customer engagement and sales. Dave is a graduate of Drake University and received his MBA in Finance from Claremont Graduate University. He currently serves on the Drake University National Alumni Board of Directors.

Elisabeth Deffner

Chief Operating Officer, Editorial Director

Elisabeth is a nationally recognized journalist and contributor to a variety of regional and national publications – including American Girl, American Profile, Catholic Digest, National Geographic, and The Los Angeles Times. She is co-founder of Bizability Group, a digital media company serving small businesses. And she oversees the InsuranceSocial.Media design and editorial team in the ongoing development of targeted social media content for producers and the companies they serve. Elisabeth is a recipient of the Egan Award for Journalistic Excellence.

Mike Condon

Chief Marketing Officer

Mike brings more than 35 years of marketing communications and consulting experience, focused on distribution development, sales and retentions. His clients have included Aviva, Principal Financial Group, Transamerica, AIG, Berkshire Hathaway, Farm Bureau Life, Global Atlantic and AmerUs Group, as well as regional agency groups, banks and investment advisory firms. He has served on nonprofit and foundation boards and is a Lead Mentor for the Global Insurance Accelerator in Des Moines.

Jim Klingler

Chief Financial Officer

Jim Klingler has over 20 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer in public and private companies in the medical device, healthcare and technology industries. Previous CFO assignments included North American Scientific, Inc, a publicly-traded medical device company manufacturing products for the treatment of prostate cancer, and Avastra Sleep Centres Ltd, a publicly-traded company operating sleep clinics, both of which were acquired. Jim also has held financial leadership roles at Allergan, Inc and Schering-Plough Corp.

Jason Steelman

Chief Technology Officer

Jason is a full stack engineer who has built content management systems, web and mobile apps, user portals, and e-commerce sites. His work has taken him from coast to coast, and clients have ranged from the Rockettes to the pharmaceutical industry.
